Introduction

I am an average mom in a not so average family.  I have an amazing hubs that we will just call The Man and two sons that we will call Monkey See and Monkey Do.  Monkey See (older dude) has high functioning autism and Monkey Do (younger dude) has a very rare diagnosis and a variety of different needs and abilities. Things are very rarely boring in our house.  You must understand that I provide the diagnosis only to give you some background, not to define.  The purpose of this blog is to unload some stress and entertain.  While most blog entries will be lighthearted, there may be an occasional serious one because that is just life.

Monkey See in a nutshell:
Very, super, spectacularly intelligent.
Sheldon freaking Cooper in the flesh.
He challenges me and makes me proud every single day.
The world in his lens is a really cool place.
He may actually achieve world domination in his twenties.

A few things you need to know about Monkey Do:
He doesn't do anything unless it is like a boss.
I feel like he was probably a pretty spectacular mob boss in a former life.
He is a whole lot of awesome packed in a little six year old body.
Monkey Do is very vocal but not quite as verbal.  He uses some words, signs, and a voice output program.

Disclaimers:
I suck at grammar.  I am a fairly intelligent being but punctuation baffles me.  I write like I speak. If there is a comma, pause.
I like adjectives. A super duper lot.
This is a journey I am sharing and it will not always be easy to read.
I'm sure there are more...I'll keep you posted.
